Striving for an earth-friendly vehicle society
The EVS exposition is the largest international exposition in the field of battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles. The exposition comprehensively presents technology related to electric vehicles, which are environmentally friendly and contribute to saving energy, as well as introducing the world's efforts to promote and spread the use of such vehicles. The EVS-22 exposition expects largest ever number of visitors, including approximately 2,000 registered participants, and for the exhibitors, it will be a special place for advertising and marketing. While embracing the dreams and mission of EVs, the EVS-22 Exposition aims to enhance the spirit of innovation and marketability, and leap further forward as an international exposition.

As a characteristic program of the EVS, Ride & Drive is a perfect opportunity to promote the developments and future of electric vehicles to both registered participants and also to the general public.

Total length of course (tentative) Targeted electric vehicles
Public road course We are planning a 1.5km and
a 2.5km public road course departing and returning to in front of the exhibition hall.
Registered four-wheeled vehicle that can be driven on public roads
Enclosed special course We are planning a 200m special ride & drive course in the piloti next to the exhibition hall. Two - and three wheeled vehicles, low speed neighborhood vehicles

Vehicle participation requisites
The participant must be an Exhibitor.
Vehicles cannot be used for both the Exhibit and Ride & Drive (it is possible to use the same vehicle for the EV Parade and Ride & Drive).
In order to participate the public road Ride & Drive, the vehicle must have a registration plate.
Participation fee, etc.
There are no participation fees.
Parking spaces for the Ride & Drive vehicle will be provided free of charge.
We will prepare facilities for recharging and hydrogen refueling. The user will bear the electricity or hydrogen expense.
Test Drive
The Exhibitor's instructor must drive or ride in the vehicle for the public road course. It will be up to the discretion of the Exhibitor as to whether the person, testing the vehicle, is allowed to take the wheel.

As a pre-event for EVS-22, the world's battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles will parade the streets in Yokohama. The parade will be from Pacifico Yokohama to the Aka-Renga (red brick) Park, and then an event will be held at the Aka-Renga Park to exhibit the parade vehicles for the general public.
